Camp Fire Hack

Have you ever been camping and had trouble getting that campfire started? Is the area saturated from previous rain or is the wood still wet? Or is it so cold out that you just need to get that fire started ASAP?

The last time that I went camping, it had been raining all week.  We got to the campsite and everything was wet.  The ground, the branches, the wood, the fire pit… EVERYTHING.  I couldn’t get a fire started to save my life.  Needless to say, it was a long, cold and wet night.

Well, I’ve decided to share with you what my “Hack” is for getting my camp fire started quickly.
